The McIntosh County Shouters, a group that claims to be the only authentic slave shouts and songs performers, held an event at the University of Maryland's Clarice Smith Performing Arts Center at 8 p.m. on Tuesday, March 6. (Above)
Freddie Palmer is the "lead songster"/lead shouter of the McIntosh County Shouters. He is 1 of 9 members in this group made up of shouters and beat-keepers. (Above)

3/7/12 Assignment
