JOUR203 Photo Assignment: Occupy DC

A businessman, on his way to work Friday morning, passes Occupy D.C. protestors Joe Gray and James Ploeser in Freedom Plaza. (Dan Appenfeller - JOUR203)

In addition to voicing economic frustration, protestors are calling for diminished American military action in the world. In a rain-soaked Freedom Plaza Friday morning, they did so by displaying boots belonging to deceased servicemen and women. (Dan Appenfeller - JOUR203)

Rain dampened an Occupy encampment in McPherson Square Wednesday, leaving behind sopping signs, tents, supplies and only a handful of protestors. (Dan Appenfeller - JOUR203)
