Homecoming Dance

Oktoberfest Reston

Two men don traditional Alpine hats in the spirit of Oktoberfest at Reston Town Center in Northern Virginia on Sunday, Oct. 13. The three day fall festival is produced by the Greater Reston Chamber of Commerce and features many activities such as live entertainment and a carnival.

STAMP Student Marketplace 10/14

Students set up a fundraising marketplace outside of Adele H.  Stamp Student Union to sell or giveaway food, shirts and print for their groups' causes on Monday afternoon. Organizations use lunch break traffic to sell or advertise for particular causes.

Stamp Student Union. "Sometimes students don't have time to pray, so we do it for them," Senasock said. 

Jessica Senasock of the Baptist Collegiate Ministries gave out "More Than A Carpenter," a book on Jesus, to a curious student outside of Adele H. Stamp Student Union. The book is entertaining and spiritually enlightening, BCM volunteer Danielle Villeneuve said.

Materials Science and Engineering Open House

UMD vs. Duke- Women's Soccer

Junior Cory Ryan scores in the second half of their game against Duke Sunday. Ryan was able to slide the ball past the goalie after a failed attempt for a diving save, making the score 1-2.

Keith Moore or "Special K," leads a group of children in cheer at Ludwig Field as the women's soccer team took on Duke Sunday. However Special K was unable to help the Terps on the field as they fell to Duke 2-1.

The sideline official paces up and down Ludwig Field at the University of Maryland. The action was fast and aggressive and the official must always be able to keep up and be in the right position.

Open House at the University of Maryland by Brittany Linton

At the University of Maryland on Monday, the Manager for Educational Program Outreach, Olan Garrett welcomes high school seniors at an Open House inside the Grand Ballroom.  Garrett tells these budding graduates all the benefits the Department of Resident Life has to offer.
