Even on a cold, cloudy, Thursday afternoon, tourists
can be seen snapping pictures at the World War II
Memorial.

The World War II Memorial is the first national
memorial to honor war efforts from home as well
as the soldiers who served in WWII.

The World War II Memorial is open to the public
24 hours a day, seven days a week.
