Far From Mormon show

Jasmine Sanchez, 19, and Taylor Judge, 19, play around on the stage before Far From Mormon, a College Park based band, takes the stage on Oct. 17.
Taylor Judge, who is close friends with two members of the band, plays the keyboard before the actual show starts. She later got reprimanded for messing up the settings.
The stage before the band took their places. The show took place at the band's house in College Park.

The crowd was quite sparse at first, but more people came and showed their support later on.
Taylor Judge patiently waits for Far From Mormon to emerge.

The show was supposed to start at 3 p.m., but was off to a late start as two audience members meandered on stage at around 3:45 p.m.

The band, consisting of singer and guitarist Steven Williams, 21, drummer Steven Sexton, 20, and bass guitarist and singer Andrew Waldburger, 20, start the show with the song "Someday" by The Strokes.

The small but supportive audience at the show danced and sang along to the songs Far From Mormon covered.

Far From Mormon had this show as a benefit concert to raise money for their trip to Honduras this winter with the student organization Students Helping Honduras

Unfortunately this was the last picture taken before the cops came and shut down the show due to a noise complaint. The band received a $500 ticket.
