Dabbling in the arts

Shae Cronin of Annapolis, Maryland, poses with his well used painters pallet outside of his house on October 20, 2014.

Cronin focuses on getting the details of his works just right. Here, he uses acrylics to a paint over a canvas that has been prepped with a spray-painted background.

Cronin has always enjoyed the arts but only began painting in the last few years. He often creates abstract pieces that are full of vibrant colors.

Cronin becomes absorbed in his work with he paints. He often paints for hours at a time and has trouble walking away from an unfinished piece.

Cronin poses with a collection of his most recent works.
