Maryland-Delaware Baseball Game Photo Essay

Umpires and officials talk before the start of the Maryland-Delaware baseball game on March 11, 2014.  Maryland is the favorite for this game, with a record of 10-4.


Maryland scored for the first time in the second inning in a 2-for-4 RBI.

Schmidt walks off the field after running into home.  Brandon Lowe batted four balls which allowed Schmidt to score.

Maryland players look on during the 7th inning.  At this point, many players are confident about the final outcome.


Maryland players congratulate each other after a landslide victory against Delaware.  The final score was 10-1.

The coaches talk with the players after the game is over.  Maryland sweeps Delaware with a 10-1 victory at home.

The game ended with a Maryland victory of 10-1 over the Delaware Hens.
