University of Maryland v. Delaware Baseball Photo Essay

UMD pitcher Jake Drossner, a sophomore from Richboro, Pennsylvania pitches strikes against the University of Delaware team.
Solid fielding by Drossner aided the Terrapins in maintaining their lead.
First baseman LaMonte Wade makes an out. He a Maryland native from the city of Owings Mills.
Maryland shortstop Blake Schmit throws to second base for an out. He is a senior from Eden Prairie, Minnesota.
Redshirt Freshman infielder Brandon Lowe is up to bat. He is from Suffolk, Virginia.
 University of Delaware first baseman Jake Clark dives for the ball.
In a close race with the first baseman, Lowe makes his way to first base.
The umpire calls Lowe safe. University of Maryland was the favorite to win this game, with a record of 10-4.
In a successful 10-1 victory, the University of Maryland baseball team beat the University of Delaware, and did "Protect this House."
