The players of the Men’s and Women’s Basketball teams prepare for Maryland Madness on 
Friday, October 18, 2013 by signing autographs for fans in Cole Field House. 
Maryland Madness is an annual event, which celebrates the beginning of the basketball season.

A freshman on the Men’s Basketball team Damonte Dodd signs an
autograph for a fan in the beginning of Maryland Madness.
Dodd says, “He is excited for the beginning of the season.”

After the teams finished signing autographs, Sophomore Seth Allen
takes pictures with an excited group of fans.

As the teams left the court, the University of Maryland’s cheerleading
squad pumps up the crowd with a diverse routine. 

Some of Maryland’s alumni like Wizard’s Juan Dixon prepare for their return back to
Cole Field House with a picture before their “game.”

Former Men’s Basketball Coaches Gary Williams and Lefty Driesell embrace
hands as they reunite during Maryland Madness.

The Men’s Basketball team entertains the crowd with a choreographed 

dance to “Men in Black” by Will Smith. 

Testudo takes his eye off of the game, while the Women’s Basketball Assistant Coach
Marlin Chinn watches the players scrimmage against each other. 

The Women’s Basketball team sits on the sideline and the fans begin
 to leave as the last event “The Three Point Shoot-Out” ends.
