The Dog Walker Profile 10/ 27

Zach Bernstein, sophomore environmental science major, spends his nights at Maryland walking student's dogs around campus.  Bernstein says he loves his job because he adores his dogs, like Rosco, the dog featured, who is a regular customer.

Bernstein plays with Rosco after their walk around south campus.  "If a dog is a man's best friend, Rosco is mine," Bernstein says.

Bernstein tries to hold a stern face and command Rosco to sit.  Rosco, however, is distracted and ignores his command.

Bernstein strikes a pose while walking Rosco back to his owners.  Bernstein explains that you have to have fun with whatever you do.

Bernstein's coat is covered in Rosco's hair after their walk.  Bernstein says it is just part of the job.
