A dedicated group of University of Maryland students wait in line for seats Friday afternoon outside of Cole Field House for Maryland Madness. Maryland Madness is an annual event at the university to celebrate the opening of basketball season.

Maryland Men's Basketball alumni entertain the crowd by hosting a scrimmage Friday evening in Cole Field House. The alumni teams include Walt Williams, Byron Mouton and Juan Dixon to name a few.

This year's men's basketball team begins their scrimmage against each other Friday night in Cole Field House. Previous Maryland basketball coaches, such as Gary Williams and Lefty McWilliams, watch as the current basketball team continues a tradition. 

Maryland Madness ends with the traditional men's basketball scrimmage Friday night in Cole Field House. Above the court a banner says, "It's like we never left".
